I actually really liked that story too because in the canon of that particular one, Vikram was actually the very first werewolf in that world. I wrote a not too dissimilar story featuring Damian (with Vikram also there but not very much) in that setting probably six or seven years ago, before I decided Damian and Vikram were together. ISIWP actually isn’t the first time I’ve used the Bookstore setting to easily slot other plots into a premade world. Well, let’s just say Max was my first ever canonically gay character but I was still really fucking homophobic when I originally wrote him. I still think my original incarnation of their story was decent, but I was a teenager when I wrote it and uh. So ISIWP takes place several years after my original Bookstore story, where now the characters are young adults. When I decided I needed to write a story that didn’t require too much new world building to create the ISIWP, I decided that setting was perfect since I already had the characters at least mildly developed.
